Key Production is keen to do everything it can to minimise the enviromental impact of it's business.

Over the years we have made changes to our manufacturing and office practices whenever we became aware of alternatives that would help to reduce our environmental impact. We are a Carbon Neutral company and the only company of our kind to Carbon Offset the emissions for manufacturing CDs and DVDs - see Carbon Offsets.

Increasingly our suppliers have become aware of the environmental impact of their businesses and are providing more and more services and products that are specifically designed to reduce this impact. These include where possible, using environmentally friendly inks consisting of vegetable based technology and mineral free oil that comply with industrial standards ISO 2846:1, EN 71/3 and CONEG. Printing may also be free of optical brightening agents (OBA free) and to the ISO 9001 – 2000 quality assurance scheme and the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

Key is an active supporter of Julie's Bicycle, a not for profit company set up to help and advise the music industry on ways to reduce it's enviromental impact.
