Record Store Day 2019 Releases Preview (Part 1)

Record Store Day is once again just around the corner! if you haven't made your wishlist yet, don't worry. We have you covered. 

Record Store Day gives music fans the rare occasion to grab some of the most coveted releases on our most beloved format - vinyl.

This year, we delivered a great number of records and as always we're proud and excited to see them on the record stores' shelves on such a special day.

To whet your appetite, we photographed some of the releases Key Production manufactured for 2019’s Record Store Day.

The Flaming Lips King's Mouth gold coloured vinyl, [Bella Union]

180g gold vinyl decorated with artwork by George Salisbury. King' s Mouth contains twelve new original Flaming Lips compositions inclusive with album narration by Mick Jones (The Clash).


Frances Mckee Sunny Moon blue coloured vinyl, [Glass]

An exclusive sea blue coloured vinyl/first time on vinyl from the Vaselines singer/songwriter.


Humble Pie Official Bootleg Vol 1 double vinyl, [HNE] 

This release contains the live versions of the 1970' s supergroup concerts in Chicago 1972, Tokyo 1973 and Charlton Athletic Football Ground in 1974. This release marks the first official release to the public housed in a gatefold sleeve.


Japan Life In Tokyo / Quiet Life red coloured vinyl, [BMG] 

This release marks the 40th anniversary of the groups' 1979 breakthrough single Life In Tokyo and follow up album Quiet Life on 10" red coloured vinyl.


Joe Strummer The Rockfield Studio Tracks vinyl, [Ignition] 

This limited edition 12" is pressed on heavyweight vinyl and the artwork features an image of the original audio mastertape with a removable photo of Joe. The Rockfield Studio Tracks' features "Forbidden City (Demo)" and "Cool Impossible".


John Grant Remixes Are Also Magic vinyl, [Bella Union]

Featuring remixes of tracks from his last 2 albums from Nik Void, Blancmange, Carter Tutti and Anna Meredith.


Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Wait and Return EP teal coloured vinyl, [Sour Mash Records] 

This Wait and Return EP is a limited edition teal coloured 12" vinyl exclusive for RSD 2019 with remixes by The Reflex and Richard Norris of tracks taken from the number one album "Who Built the Moon?" featuring new sleeve artwork by Gareth Halliday.

The latest release from Prolapse, re-mastered and presented on duck egg coloured vinyl.


Robert Plant Fate of Nations vinyl, [Es Paranza] 

The latest release from Robert Plant, re-issued and presented on a black 180gm heavyweight. This is the first time Fate Of Nations will be made available on vinyl in 30 years. The outer sleeve will be high-end matt soft pack, whilst the inner sleeve will be printed on ethically sourced material and feature updated artwork. 


Roger Glover & Friends Butterfly Ball purple coloured double vinyl, [Purple] 

The latest release from Roger Glover, a 45th-anniversary edition since going solo from the band Deep Purple. This project is presented on double purple vinyl with gatefold artwork by famed illustrator Alan Aldridge.


Spacemen 3 Live in Europe 1989  coloured double vinyl, [Space Age] 

The latest release from Spacemen 3, presented on opaque coloured heavyweight 180gm audiophile vinyl double LP. this project was Re-mastered by John Rivers at Woodbine Street Studio. 


Tangerine Dream Poland clear transparent double vinyl, [Esoteric]
