The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society is part of a special BMG release series called The Art Of The Album which focuses specifically on high quality, bespoke packaged re-issues of seminal albums within the BMG catalogue with the aim of offering a title true to the original album release enriched with the best quality audio masters and high spec original artwork and packaging. Through extensive sleeve notes, interviews, photography and specially created online & press content each title focuses on “telling the story” of the album’s production, release and cultural impact.
