About the Project
We were tasked to create a packaging solution that emulated the 2.351:1 aspect of the Shawscope format. The outer slipcase is landscape, long and narrow, holding a rigid lay-flat style disc book, housing titles spread over Blu-ray discs and bonus CDs filled with De Wolfe Library music in the films. Also tucked away in the slipcase is a 60-page illustrated book with incisive historical and generic appreciations of the films by David Desser, Simon Abrams, and Terrence J Brady.
